On May 18, 2024, Bouton Fire & Rescue held its first annual ATV/UTV fun ride fundraiser. We had nearly 120 riders join us for the 70-mile drive -- THANK YOU all for your support!

 

The ride kicked off from the Bouton Fire Station at 10:30 a.m., heading for the first of six stops, The Whistlin' Donkey in Woodward. From there the group traveled to The Flat Tire Lounge in Madrid, the Night Hawk Bar & Grill in Slater, R Place in Kelly, and Whatcha Smokin in Luther before ending the ride at Drifters in Bouton with a prize drawing to finish the night. Lucky riders chose from prizes donated by the Iowa Cubs, Iowa Wild, Iowa Barnstormers, Tiger Bowl, Blank Park Zoo, Flix Brewhouse, Freddy's Frozen Custard in Grimes, Boone Scenic Valley Railroad, Letter Eats by B, The Chocolate Endeavor, Jeff E Pop, the Des Moines Buccaneers, Firetrucker Brewery, Fire Department Coffee, Texas Roadhouse in Johnston, American Sparks & Sawdust, Rural Route T Photography & Design, Boone Valley Wood & Wreath Co, Greenough Construction, Doll Distributing, and  Clean Works Autowash in Perry.

 

We'd also like to give a big shoutout to our amazing event sponsors. With your support and generosity we surpassed our fundraising goal of $5k, raising more than $6.5k in sponsorships and $7k overall with less than $1k going to event expenses.
