2024 Bouton Fire & Rescue Carnival
On September 14, 2024, Bouton Fire & Rescue held it's first end-of-summer carnival fundraiser. We had a variety of games and prizes, a petting zoo, cotton candy, a dunk tank manned by Bouton Mayor Mike Miner and firefighter Caleb Spencer, ice cream from Picket Fence Creamery, and a pork dinner sponsored by the Iowa Pork Produces and smoked by Kue'd. It was a day of family fun at the Bouton City Park and the department raised nearly $1,500 to put toward the addition of a third bay onto the station.

A special thank you to everyone who helped make the event a success: Woodward-Granger student volunteers, the Dallas County Sheriff's office for use of their dunk tank, and Perry Hyvee and Perry Fareway for providing water and buns for the pork dinner.
